Ryleigh- 1 wk old

Our 1st photo shoot as a family of 5!  Ryleigh is exactly 1 week old in these pictures.  And this might have been the most miserable photo experience EVER!!  Ryleigh cried throughout most of the picture taking.  The photographer had us stop twice so I could breastfeed Ry to try and get her to settle down.  Devyn and Caleb were extremely restless so they were climbing up on the shelves, taking out all of the props and basically just destroying the entire place!  Ughhh... we were supposed to be there an hour and we ended up being there for 2!  Brandon hates family pictures anyway, so he was miserable and giving me the death stare the entire time we were there.  I do have to say though, now that I've seen the pictures, all the misery was well worth it! :)  I'm so glad we have these precious family pictues

Devyn's 4th Birthday Party!  All she wanted was to have a dance party!  So we hired a DJ and just rented out a space where the kids could dance and have fun.  This ended up being, who can hit who with the balloon!  They also played a lot of hide and seek, by hiding under the tables.... they did a whole lot of everything except dance!  But all in all the kids left happy whether they danced or not :) Can't believe my precious little girl is 4!  She has turned into such a great kid.... it amazes me everyday all the things she can do, how smart she is and how helpful she is around the house.  I love her more and more everyday!

Just the girls!

We welcomed Ryleigh Margaret-Shia Johnson into this world on October 26, 2011 at 4:31pm.  She was our little chunk muffin weighing in at 9lbs 3ozs!  She was also the longest of the 3 kids measuring 21 3/4 in.  My water broke at 5:30am the same morning that she was born and my labor was very similar to my labor with Devyn.  But this being my 3rd time I was quick with the epidural and labor went very well! :) I LOVE the whole birthing experience and being apart of such a magical and miraculous event.  Holding my little angel at the end of the long, exhausting process always makes everything so worth it.

As Caleb gets older and more able to do things with Devyn, we've had our fair share of problems with Devyn wanting to share!  But I must say that she is really a good big sister.  She watches after Caleb and is always telling him the right thing to do- she's also quick to tell me when he's doing something he shouldn't be!  I love seeing how close they are becoming.
