My Big Gril at 4

Caleb, Kaylee and Devyn! These are the 3 musketeers! They are always together and love to play :)
Devyn's other friends! (Aiden, Anthony, Devyn, Caleb and Matthew) Devyn and Anthony are also best buddies!

Devyn's 3's class preschool teachers (Ms. Jeanne and Ms. Joan) Devyn LOVED having them as teachers!

Devyn and Caleb at the Fresh Beat Band Concert!  They had a great time and keep asking to go back!

A picture Devyn colored in preschool.  I was pretty impressed at how well she stayed in the lines :)

She also loves to paint.  She's doing a fun little trick that preschool taught her- paint her hand and make hand prints.  Too bad this ended up in purple hand prints all over the house, dog, windows, Caleb...everything!!

Devyn opening presents from Grandma and PaPaw on her birthday!
Devyn is so grown up at 4 years old! It amazes me all the things she can do!  Here's a rundown of her favorite things and things she can do as well as somethings she's still afraid of or doesn't like very much!
Favorites:
- Barbies!
- Princesses- her favorite one changes almost daily- but Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella are always at the top of the list.
- Fresh Beat Band- her favorite music and TV show (she LOVES to sing their songs)
- Make-up and Jewelry! She loves to put on lipstick and to wear pretty necklaces- plus she like to prance around in my high heels
-Reading books- Her tag reading system that helps her read on her own
-Pre-School!- She loves going to school and playing with all her friends
- I-pod/ I-pad
- Wearing dresses and skirts- she ALWAYS wants to wear a dress!
- Coloring
Things she can do:
- Brush her own teeth
- Get herself dressed
- Make her own waffles in the morning- get them out of the freezer and put them in the toaster oven. Plus she can get the butter and syrup out!
- She can read a few books and knows most of her sight words
- 48 piece puzzles all by herself
- Ride her bike
-Spell several words including: mississippi, grandma, purple, pink and all her family and friends names!
-Swing by herself at the playground
-Cartwheels
Things she's working on:
- Tying her shoes
- Reading and learning more sight words
- Monkey Bars- She's SO close!  She can do a few bars, but not the whole way- she still gets a little nervous
Things she's still afraid of:
- New places/ new people/ big groups of people
- Performing in front of others- singing or dancing - either at her preschool performances or when we just ask her to sing for someone- she gets very bashful and usually puts her hands over her face or in her mouth
- The dark- not completely, but she gets nervous to go into a room if it's dark
