Devyn is already 2 years old! So hard to believe!! She has turned into quite the little helper. She loves to help cook dinner and help wash dishes. It amazes me everyday how much she knows and how well she talks. She puts together very good sentences and is very inquistive. She carries around her books like she would a baby doll or blanket, she even takes them to bed with her... it's funny because I'll hear her trying to "read" even when the lights are out and she's supposed to be sleeping! So funny! She is still as active as ever, she loves to run and jump all over the place. It's a very rare time if she's sitting still. Her 2 year old stats are:
height- 34 3/4 inches- 70%
weight- 29.8 lbs- 80%
head- 49 cm.- 85%

We made the transition to the big girl bed! This DID NOT go well. It took several months (since I'm writing this 6 months late!) for her to get used to her big girl bed and to stay in it all night. We had to put a child handle on the inside so she couldn't get out and come sneaking into our bed at night!! Brandon and I spent several nights on her floor, she spent many nights on a mattress on our floor and we all spend many sleepless nights crammed into a bed together. Finally 6 months later, I think she's comfortable! It's very rare for her to get out of bed now :) One huge Blessing!!

In her new jammies she got from her Nana Walker for Christmas, complete with headband and slippers! :) She's also got her new baby doll from Grandma Finley.

Devyn LOVED her adventure at Meijer where PawPaw showed her how to put the penny in and ride the horse at Meijer. She still talks about it to this day (and these pictures were taken after Thanksgiving!) Whenever she finds a penny she says "I use this to ride the horse with PawPaw"

THANKSGIVING

New Year's Eve- Devyn at her first concert! She LOVED it. She was dancing and singing the whole time :)

9 Months!!!

Wow how time flies! Caleb is already 9 months old! At the time of his 9 month Dr. appointment Caleb was able to take one unassited step. Now he's taking about 5-6 steps all by himself. He's ready to walk... just likes cruising a little bit better! Caleb has leveled off with his height and weight- His 9 month stats
Height- 29 inches- 75%
Weight- 19lb 15oz.- 50% (I think he weighs so little because he doesn't like to eat!)
Caleb still isn't consistently sleeping through the night. Right now it's about 50/50. He uses his blankie to put himself back to sleep (his blanket is as important to him as Devyn's pacifer is to her!) and you can tell when he's tired by him scratching his head! Caleb is also loving Beans and Brutus and Buckeye. He pets Beans and he tries to ride on top of him. He just chases Brutus and Buckeye, only to pull their hair or tails if he catches them! Music is definitely Caleb's favorite thing right now. He loves anything that makes music or loud noises. It's amazing how much Devyn and Caleb are playing together. I love watching them. Caleb really loves his sister. He tries to follow her around and he's always looking to see what she's doing. He smiles when he goes to wake her from her afternoon naps. He's really becoming his own little person!

He knows how to turn on the music so he can dance!

He's been attempting to feed himself.... doesn't happen very often because I don't have time to clean his gigantic mess!

But he thinks it's great! :)

Bath Time! Caleb LOVES bath time. He loves the water coming out of the facet and playing with all the toys. He NEVER sits still and he makes it almost impossible to get him clean!
