Johnson Family Fun

We had Brandon's family over for a 4th of July bbq yesterday! We had a great time!

Texas Friends!

While Brandon was out of town in New York, I took the kids and went back to Ohio so we could visit with some very special friends from Texas! Lauren and I have been friends since 1st grade! And now we both have children of our own.... how fast time goes. Owen is about 6 weeks younger than Devyn and they would make such great playmates.... if only we lived closer! :) We had such a great time visiting and we are looking forward to the next time that we can visit

Caleb's 2 month's Old

Our boy is 2 months old! Caleb has developed so much in the last month. It's crazy how fast the grow and how quickly they are doing new things. Caleb is such a smiley boy! He smiles all the time!! He recognizes Brandon, Devyn and I and will turn towards our voice and smile at us. He tracks things with his eyes from one side to the other and he lifts his head up to about a 30 degree angle when he's on his belly. While on his belly he can also turn his head from one side to the other.

Caleb is a good sleeper and is sleeping for one six hour stretch every night. He also goes right back to sleep after he eats- which Devyn NEVER did- so it makes it easy to go back to bed even after you're up to feed him. He is still sleeping in his car seat-in his crib- but as long as he's sleeping, I don't care! :)

Caleb likes to lay on his back and kick around and he still loves is red bouncer chair. Caleb hates being too hot - which makes it hard for Devyn to get to play outside. Caleb is also not a big fan of going for rides in the car.

Overall, life at 2 months with Caleb has been hectic, but wonderful. And each day I get better and better at entertaining and keeping the 2 of them happy! :)
