Devyn loves to dance and make music. She plays her music table all the time! It holds her attention better than anything else. This video was also taken about a month ago of her dancing to her music

Can you tell that her daddy dressed her today?? (In an 18-month outfit that I bought for next summer! :)) But she still looks cute so it's ok!

Devyn has been walking for almost 2 months now! She was pretty shakey at first but sure has gotten quite good. This video was taken about a month ago. It's crazy trying to keep up with her as she flies around the house getting into everything! :)

10 Months Old!!!

It's been another month already! Devyn is 10 months old! And at 10 months old she is all over the place! She has perfected her walking and she can really move quickly. She tries to unplug everything that we have plugged in, she tries to get the dog food, she tries to catch the cat, she tries to unpack my purse and school bag everyday and she absolutely LOVES to get the TV remote no matter where it is.

She is starting to eat more solid foods and really seems to like yogurt, pumpkin pie and cheerios. She dislikes mashed potatoes and anything that is too cold.

She is finally, for the most part, sleeping through the night. We can even lay her down awake and she'll fall asleep all on her own... and without a fit! :)

She loves music and is constantly dancing. She still is not very interested in TV, unless there is music and she can dance.

She is really talking a lot and now besides dada, she also know dog. I can't believe she knows dog before mama...what the heck!?!

Lastly she has just started learning how to share. When you hold out your hand she will bring you whatever she is holding. But of course she wants it back right away. It's so funny

Ok, so I know it's been a long time. But here are a few more of Devyn's professional pics. These were taken when she was 8 months old.

9 months old!!

At 9 months Devyn is really starting to develop a personality. She is so curious and inquisitive. She gets into absolutely everything she can and she is so nosy, always wanting to know what everyone is doing. She also is starting to throw some major fits! If you tell her no, or take her away from something she wants to check out.... watch out! She arches her back and kicks her little feet... I have a feeling we are in for a long toddlerhood.

We finally (well if 3 nights in a row count) have her sleeping through the night in her own bed! It feels like a miracle! I hope she continues on this pattern.

Devyn loves to give kisses! She understands when we ask her for a kiss and she lean over and kiss our cheeks. Then she gives the biggest smile and claps her hands! It's great.

She also has gotten very into pattycake and she loves to dance. Anytime play music is on she is dancing, it is the funniest thing.

She is so close to walking. As of today, she can take one unassited step before falling to the floor. But she cruises around the furniture no problem and she'll walk forever holding on to our hands. She also loves to just stand up on her own and she plays with her toys standing up. I don't think it will be too much longer before she's walking on her own.

She's still growing like a weed. Her latest stats are

Height: 28 3/4 in.- 90%

Weight: 21 lbs 1 oz.- 85%

Head: 45.4 cm- 90-%

She's definitely still on track to take after her dad!

My Daughter the Bully

We took Devyn to Bre's 1st birthday party last weekend and this is where we discovered that she is a little bully. She was knocking down all the other kids and stealing their toys and shoes! after she knocked them over she would use their heads to help her stand up over them! Then she proceeded to smile and clap like she did a great thing! I have some pictures, but they don't do justice to her true bullying! I can't believe it, my daughter the bully.....

Feeding Myself

It's so much more fun to play! But as you can tell she has missed her mouth several times!

This time we are trying sweet potato's- atleast she has some part of the spoon in her mouth!

Maybe I can eat it all right out of the bowl! Forget this spoon thing

How does this thing work???

We've been practicing with Devyn on how to use her spoon to feed herself. As you can tell it has been quite the experience! We only let her practice after she's had enough to eat.... otherwise she might starve! She hasn't yet figured out how to get it into her mouth :) But babies are supposed to make messes (I just have a hard time convincing Brandon of that)
