We've been working on Body Parts and Devyn just thinks it's great! She's learned almost all of them! Now we're putting it to the song, "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" good times!

Devyn's 18 months old!
Devyn at 18 months.....
The doctor told us that Devyn is talking like a 2-year old. Some of her favorite things to say are:

Bad Dog
Cookie (who taught her this one!)
and her all time favorites of course are- No and Mine
Devyn's motor skills are also very good as she is quite good at
Throwing the ball over and under hand
Kicking the ball
Running
Jumping
Other things Devyn's doing include- naming and pointing to almost all of her body parts, picking out pictures in books (Her favorites are dogs, ducks, cookies and juice), Coloring with both hands, and she's starting to potty train. Fun times!
Her Stats:
Height- 33 in- 85%
Weight- 26lbs 10.5oz.-80%
Head- 48.2 cm- 90%
Enjoys putting her food in her hair!
Looks like she might be a catcher instead of a pitcher! :)
Has all the dog leases and thinks she is hot stuff!
Is checking out her weight and looking at her little belly

Devyn and Caleb are becoming good buddies. If Caleb is crying Devyn comes running in with is pacifier. When I come in in the morning to get Devyn out of Bed she always says, Hi Caleb!, first thing when I open the door. If she's been gone for the day and I have Caleb at home she runs right in and gives him hugs and kisses. It's sooooo cute! She also loves being right there next to him as we play together!

Trip to Ohio
We went to Ohio to visit Grandma and Grandpa Finley. What a fun time we had! Devyn loves exhausting the grandparents by running everywhere!
Trip to the park- where swinging is her favorite thing!
Gramps bought Devyn some golf clubs. And he is teaching her early how to be a great golfer!
I don't think the lessons worked too well! She still doesn't know which hand she wants to be, right or left.

Diva Devyn
Devyn is becoming more and more like a little adult... welcome to toddlerhood! She is so independant and likes to do everything on her own. She is just the little Diva!

I was getting ready to take things to a friends garage sale and Devyn was helping me load the van. The next thing I know she climed into the van- by herself- got into the front seat and started driving!

Devyn has decided that my phone is hers. So she takes the phone from me, crosses her little arms over her chest and tells me "mine".
Getting the credit cards out of the purse!
To keep Devyn entertained when we go some where I let her go through my purse. The first thing she does is goes right for the wallet, and all the money and credit cards :)
