Walking?!?!

Devyn has been very anxious to teach herself how to walk! She has been holding on to things and making her way around the room for about a week. So we bought her this little push walker a few days ago. She loves to practice with it! She is not very good yet, but she keeps trying. She's been standing unassited too... so I don't think it will be too long before she takes those first steps!

She's a little shaky in the video and she's has a little tumble to the floor, but she get's up and sort of tries again! :) it's fun to watch!

Crazy Girl

My little girl does some crazy things, But they always make me laugh!! Here are the latest crazy things that I've caught on camera

For all of you who are thinking, I can't believe she let her drink diet coke... I didn't. She couldn't open the can (and if she could there is no way I'd actually let her drink it) But it was much more fun to let you think she really had some :)

Devyn and The Boys

Devyn and I went home the Aug. 9th weekend for my 10-year high school reunion! I can't believe it's already been 10 years! It's even harder to believe that I'm a mommy and so are most of my high school friends! So far, Devyn is the lone girl, surrounded by all the boys!

My friend Nikki and her son Zac. Zac is 4 years old and he is expecting a little sister in December! (Finally a little girl for Devyn to play with!)

8 Months Old!

And life continues to fly by.... Devyn is a little over 8 months old now and she is so active and so curious! She's trying to stand up all on her own, but she's not quite mastered that yet. She can balance for a little while before she grabs back on to something or sits herself down. We have made some progress in getting her to sleep in her own crib. She goes to sleep in her own crib, but when she wakes up at 4am, she usually ends up in bed with mommy and daddy! Her hair is finally starting to grow a little bit... and we are starting to see some curls, I'm anxious to see what it looks like when it gets a little longer! Devyn's also talking up a storm and now calls her daddy by name(when Brandon comes home from work, she says dada)! Still no mama... which is no good :( But don't worry we are practicing mama everyday! She seems to be getting stronger by the day and does something new and exciting all the time! This has been a wonderful time in our lives... both Brandon and I really enjoy watching her grow and develop new skills. She really does amaze us everyday. And of course she is still spoiled rotten :)
