Crawlin up the Steps!

Video of Devyn crawling up the steps! She can do it by herself, but I'm always right there just in case she takes a tumble! If we let her she'd crawl all the way to the top.... of course we'd have to help her along the way.

Anthony and Devyn

These are pictures of Devyn's "cousin" Anthony. He's 4 months old and just the cutest little thing! Anthony's mommy, Sammi, and I have been friends since my first day at Butler. We are so glad to be back in Indianapolis so Devyn and Anthony can grow up together!

This is video of Devyn about 2-3 weeks ago when she first really started to crawl. As you can tell she'd rather play with my cell phone, shoes and the dog than her own toys. It's amazing how much better she is at crawling in just 2 short weeks

Time for a Run

I take Devyn and Beans for a run or walk every day. She is so super cute in the running stroller. She thinks she's driving and directing our journey. (I must admit though, most of the time she is in control!)

Oh WOW!!!

I seem to be saying that a lot lately!


Oh Wow! Look at her go! She's a crawling maniac and she even crawled up a few steps today!!

Oh Wow, it's time to baby proof the house! She is getting into everything! She loves to open up the cabinets.

Oh WOW, she's standing up!! I'm not ready for all this :)

And Oh WOW she's got 2 teeth! I know they are hard to see in this picture but if you look close on the bottom they are there.

She's just growing up so fast. I can't believe how strong she is for only 7 months. She's definitely a mover and a shaker!

7 months old!

The time is just flying by and Devyn is now 7 months old! This has been a great month with lots of new adventures. She is really taking on her own personality and it's so fun to watch. New fun things Devyn is doing this month include clapping her hands and waving hello and bye bye! She is crawling around- she's just starting to figure out how to do it on her hands and knee's- right now it's more of an army man crawl. She loves to laugh and thinks it's great to be tossed in the air. She can pull herself from a sitting position to a standing position holding on to the coffee table. She's just growing so fast!!

She's still a big girl weighing in at 18lbs 5oz and is 27.5in. long. She's in the 75th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for height! When I compare her records to mine she is 2lbs heavier than I was at her age and she's only 1/2 an inch shorter than what I was at 1 year old!! She definitely takes after her daddy!

I Love My Daddy

I LOVE MY DADDY BECAUSE......


He let's me sleep in the bed and mean old mommy tries to make me sleep in my own crib!


He feeds me oatmeal and let's my face get all messy! Mommy is always trying to wipe my face, and I HATE that!


He always reads me a great bed time story!

And he always wants to cuddle and play with me, that's why I love my daddy so much :)
