Devyn had her 2 month well visit with the doctor on Valentines Day. She is continuing to grow and get big. Now she is 24 in. tall and 13 lbs. She is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. I think she is going to have her daddy's height!

She is hitting all of her developmental milestones a little on the early side. She has just recently found her hands and she thinks they are great! She'll sit and just stare at them and move them around in front of her face. She has also started turning her head from one side all the way to the other while on her back to follow some of her favorite toys or mommy's voice.

I was very impressed with how well Devyn took her shots. The nurse even said Devyn was the best baby she's had in about 5 years! She did cry when she got the shots but stopped as soon as they were over. I think it was more traumatic for Brandon and I. She slept once we brought her home and woke up feeling pretty good. She was back to her normal self by the following afternoon. I hope all her doctor's appointments go so well! :)

2 months old!!

Yesterday was Devyn's 2 month birthday! She goes to the doctor next week to see how big she's getting. I'm anxious to see how much she weighs and how tall she is. But I'm not looking forward to all the shots she will be receiving :(

This month Devyn has really become alert. She follows things very well with her eyes, she swats at things in front of her and over her head. She also loves her mobile and will watch winnie the pooh go around in circles for hours (or atleast several minutes!)

She likes to hold conversations with you and will make sounds back at you whenever you talk to her. Grandpa Finley is convinced that she has said HI to him on a few different occasions!

She still isn't sleeping through the night consistently. But she has had a few nights where she slept for 8 and 9 hours straight. Those are great nights! And she still has those nights where she's up every three hours to eat. Those are NOT so great nights.

Being back at work hasn't been that bad. It's very nice that my parents can be here to babysit. It would have been very hard to put her in daycare at 6 weeks old. I of course miss her while I'm away at work but it's great to come home to her smiling face.

Devyn loves to smile! She always greets Brandon and I and Grandma and Grandpa Finley with the biggest smile! It just makes my day to see her smile! She's so cute!~

Tummy Time!

Devyn does not like to be on her belly! But she is working on holding her head up and turning it from side to side.

1st Bowling Outing!

Brandon and I got bowling balls, shoes and bags for Christmas this year. We took Devyn to the bowling alley for the first time to see the bowling battle that takes place between my mom and I vs. my dad and Brandon. The women currently hold the crown, but on this occasion we tied. Brandon is actually becoming quite the good bowler, while I on the other hand.... well lets just say I'm still learning! I don't know how long the women will continue to hold the crown.....
