Getting Big

It's already been 6 weeks and I start back to work tomorrow :( She is getting so Big! She recognizes Brandon and I and will give us the biggest toothless grin whenever she see's us! That is my favorite part of the day! She's also started making more sounds and trying to talk to us. She loves listening to music and colorful toys and pictures. It's going to be hard going back to work and not being around her all day

Brandon is so great with Devyn! He always wants to cuddle with her and he's great at changing diapers and helping to put her to sleep- even in the middle of the night!

Family Visit

Nanna and Papaw Walker and Uncles Kegan and Kelby came to visit this weekend. They braved the super cold weather to cheer on the Packers, we were all hoping for a Super Bowl game.... but that wasn't meant to be this year :(

Sunday Best

I got all dressed up in my Sunday best, I was so excited for my first trip to Church. But then my daddy decided it was too icey on the roads for me and mommy to be out driving. So now I'm all dressed up with no where to go!

Bath Time

Devyn HATES bath time! She very much so likes to be warm and snuggly and bath time makes her cold. She also hates to have her neck washed so that really makes her scream!

1 Month Old!!

Yesterday was Devyn's 1 month birhtday! She's growing so fast! She is already out of the new born diapers and she is quickly growing out of her newborn clothes. I weighed her on our scale at home at she's up to a whopping 11 1/2 pounds! She's growing like a weed. At 1 month old Devyn likes to sleep a lot during the day.... and not so much at night time! She loves to read stories with mommy and daddy. And she is working on her head raising skills and turning over abilities during tummy time. She is a very active little one!

New Year's Eve

This was Devyn's first party with friends! She almost slept through the entire thing! She did wake up in just enough time to watch the ball drop. Then she was really ready to party! She didn't go back to sleep until after 3:00am! That was a rough night for mommy and daddy!

Christmas Dress

For the Christmas holiday Devyn and I went to visit family. So we took the the air and Devyn had her first airplane trip. She did great on the plane, but getting on the plane was a whole nother story! Our first stop was Kokomo, IN. to see Grandma and Grandpa Walker and all Brandon's family. We stayed for 4 days and then went to Columbus, OH. to visit Grandma and Grandpa Finley and all of my family. Devyn did great in the car- for over 3 hours- on the way to Columbus! We flew home 4 days later on Christmas- to spend the day with Daddy (who we left behind because he was busy with work). She was spoiled rotten by everyone and came home with enough clothes to wear a new outfit everyday for a year!

Grandma Walker bought her a super cute dress to where on Christmas Day.

My First Professional Pictures

At 6 days old we took Devyn to get some professional pictures taken. We wanted to have some cute pictures to send out for Christmas and as her birth announcement. We got so many cute pictures it was hard to decide which ones to put on the announcement. Since it was so hard to choose I'm posting some of the other proofs that we didn't pick. She's super cute in all of them.... of course!

My First Week

Devyn's first week home was very busy! She went to the mall for the first time at 5 days old! (I was running behind with the Christmas shopping) She also spent lots of time cuddling with her daddy on the couch. She

Birth Day!

Devyn Renee Johnson was born on December 7th, 2007. She weighed 8lbs 4oz. and was 20 3/4 in. long.

She was born at 11:35pm and came out looking just like her daddy!
